This is a repository for reports on my adventures in the great outdoors. I live in California and take every opportunity I can to go fly fishing, usually in a National Forest somewhere. But once in a while I’m fortunate enough to visit other states. I do a fair amount of hiking on some of these trips, but it’s only because I can’t get to the river any other way.

This blog isn’t just for fly fishers, it’s also about hiking, camping, and enjoying the great outdoors. If you don’t fly fish, you can skip over those parts and you might still find some  of the stories interesting.
